Strive Online for Family Time Providers is evidence-based, trauma-informed, developmentally-grounded, relationship-based, and diversity-informed training to promote the professional development of those who supervise family time for families with children birth to 8 years.
These learning modules provide information and practical skills for working with parents and children in the context of family time. It covers topics related to orientating parents to family time, helping families to set-up family time routines, supporting parents in nurturing their children, creating safety during family time, effective communication strategies and the value of play, particularly play that is child-directed.
WARNING: The content in this course will include topics of child abuse (physical abuse, sexual abuse, and neglect), as well as drug addiction, domestic violence, and systemic racism. Much of it will be emotionally and intellectually challenging to engage with. We encourage you to take plenty of breaks and practice self-care while working through these learning modules.
